The People Who Eat the Same Meal Every Day [Joe Pinsker/The Atlantic]
This is me. I eat the same thing for lunch every day: Cut-up fruit, cottage cheese, and cinnamon with baby carrots and cherry tomatoes on the side.
For breakfast, a meal-shake called Huel and coffee.
I eat the same same snack in the afternoon and evening.
Dinner has more variety, but honestly not a lot.
I enjoy these meals and snacks every time and, as one person in this article says, the sameness reduces “cognitive overhead.” Fewer decisions I need to make.
I do eat out in restaurants occasionally (or did, before, you know) and when I do I like variety.
