David Schor, who was fired from Civis Analytics for tweeting that nonviolent demonstrations were more effective than “riots” at changing public opinion, predicts a close Presidential election in 2020. In the past, he says, a lead as wide as Biden enjoys today tends to narrow as the election approaches.

He also says white working class voters tend to be conservative on racial and immigration issues, which play badly for Democrats, and the party would do well to focus in campaigns on areas where the WWC can be won over — economics.

He has more interesting predictions and observations as well.
