“David Eggers and [Ezra Klein] discuss satire, the Trump presidency, and the importance of disconnecting from technology on The Ezra Klein Show.”
Eggers, a writer, editor and publisher, doesn’t own a smartphone or have WiFi in his house.
The only thing I’ve read of Eggers is his first published book, “A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius,” about how both his parents died when he was 21 within a couple of months of each other, and he was left to parent his 11-year-old brother. Eggers also founded McSweeney’s and is active in education and human rights.
I found Eggers impressive. I need to read more of his work.
