This Hello Internet podcast makes a couple of points I’ve believed for a while, but hadn’t thought through before:
The activity rings on the Apple Watch are useless to me. I know how much exercise I want to get every day. When I do that, I’m done.
Likewise, I work at a standing desk so I’m not worried about too much time sitting.
I don’t need a watch to help with hitting those goals; the rings and notifications are just annoying.
Also, about AirBnb: I don’t like using it because it’s too random. I might have an unexpectedly delightful experience, or I might have a terrible experience. I like hotels; they’re predictable.
